Paying Respect
This performance is about paying respect to our ancestors, to their lives. Without them we wouldn't exist. My costume is made up out of medals for them. I dedicate these medals to them. By this I give myself, through a costume, back to them.
I express my respect to the sea, that gives with such power, but also takes. Just as with the tsunami on this location in 2004, the sea took our ancestors. Respect her power.
